Pressure Network

A Pressure Network is one that represents the supply of potable water. In SOLID, is calculated using the engine EPANET. In Civil 3D, it is represented by the Pressure Network. However, this does not provide any Designing method so far (there may be third-party solutions, but I am not aware of them).

A Pressure Network contains the following properties (in addition to general network properties):

• Consumer Sector (DefaultSector, ObjectID) - Standard consumption sector to be associated to Pipes
  A type can have more than one associated consumption sector. use the command SCONNECT to connect others or SDISCONNECT to disconnect

Commands for editing and creating:

• SNETWORK - To create a network
• SEDITNETWORK - To edit an already created network
• EPANETIMPORT - To import a network from EPANET
• SIMPORTPRESSURE - To import a Civil 3D network
• SIMPORTEXCEL - To import a network listed in M$ Excel
• SMERGENETWORK - Merge networks of the same type
• SSPLITNETWORK - Divides the network into two parts
• SNUM - to number devices on the network
• SCALC - opens the Designing tab for the selected network
