SOLIDOS Modeler - Transformations
Transformations are the actions that create altered copies of the original geometries.
There are the following activities that create transformations:
Displacement - creates a copy of a geometry by offsetting (moving) it from one point to another
Rotate 3D - creates a rotated copy of a geometry, at a given point, axis and rotation
Scale - creates a copy and applies a homogeneous scale factor from a given point
Mirror - creates a mirrored copy of the geometry
Align - moves and rotates a geometry, like AutoCAD's ALIGN command, but without Design
Note, transforms do not modify the original geometry.
They create copies and alter these copies.
The result can later be used as
any geometry.
