Options

Options are global program settings. These settings are defined in this node and can be accessed using the command SOPTIONS, or by double-clicking:

On the properties screen:

You can change several properties, which are listed below:

• Dimensioning - Flow settings control variables that influence hydraulic calculations
• Qto - Codes of activities and services that can be related to devices
• Warning - Configuration of the warning block that informs devices with some kind of problem
• Drainage - Settings related to Drainage Network
• Consumer Sector - Settings related to Consumer Sectors
• Excavation - Settings related to trenching
• Slope Patterns - Settings related to slope patterns on trenches
• Table - controls the appearance of the table selection polygon
  • Polygon Color - indicates the color that the table selection polygons will appear in the drawing
  • Draw Polygon - indicates whether the polygon will be drawn or not
  Note: it is a temporary polygon, not part of the AutoCAD database
• Preview - controls the appearance of some previews (Design Tab)
  • Text Height - height of the texts naming structures in the preview
  • Distance between Strings - when several snippets are selected, but there is no continuity between them, a space between strings is added
  • Vertical exaggeration - controls the vertical scale of the preview when in profile
• Projections - default values for projections
  • Maximum View Distance - default value for the Maximum View Distance
• Null Structure - controls characteristics of null structures
  • Null Structure - informs the diameter of the sphere representing null structure in model space
• Design
  • Minor Increment - Minor change in upstream or downstream elevation during Design, when clicking variation buttons in profile preview
  • Major Increment - Major variation in upstream or downstream elevation during Design, when clicking variation buttons in profile preview
  • Water Density (Gama, Double) - density of water for calculating tensile stress
  • Gravity Acceleration (g, Double) - Gravity Acceleration on Earth. Used in many calculations
• Flow Analysis
  • Maximum slope (SlopeMax, Double) - maximum slope to be used during flow analysis
  • Slope Increment (DeltaSlope, Double) - slope increment to be used during flow analysis
• Gravity Networks
  • Propagate Section (PropagateSection, Boolean) - When changing the section of a linear device, in general, devices downstream of it must have equal or greater sections. In this case, check this option so that the program also replaces them
    Applies to gravity networks (drainage and sewage)
• General
  • Load Menu - forces the menu to load whenever SOLIDOS is loaded
    The SMENU command will be called if the value is YES
    Note: this may change the default CUIX settings
