The command SSPLIT divides a longitudinal device into two parts
To use, call SSPLIT from the command line, menu, toolbar or the Ribbon. You will be asked to click a coordinate where to cut the device:
When a device is divided into two parts, in order for the network to maintain coherence, the two devices created will be connected by a point device to be chosen in the Materials List, obeying the connection rules a>. The result will be:
Of course, if the device has projections, they will be updated.
If you need to join two linear devices into one, use the command SJOINDEVICES
Note: devices that are external reference cannot be edited. Just the rule, style, references or layer can be edited on the device.
