In the screen that opens, you can edit the different properties of the object, and devices allow you to preview the edition even before clicking the button. OK button. To do this, click the button Preview in the toolbar:

In addition you can:

• Expand - expands the property categorization
• Collapse - collapse property categorization
• Formats - allows editing units and formats of properties on this screen
• Help - opens help relevant to the selected object
• Preview - show/hide the preview of the selected item
• Copy - allows you to copy section properties from another device

Note: devices that are external reference cannot be edited. Just the rule, style or layer can be edited.

Likewise Device networks that are external reference, can only edit styles for labels and device projections.

If you need to rename, or otherwise edit, do so on the source file.
