SIFCEXPORT - PropertySet

When using the SIFCEXPORT command to populate the PropertySet for SOLIDOS, you must first use the SPSETS command. For it to function correctly, you need to map the model properties to the PropertySet properties.

To do this, click the button at the top of the Model Editor screen:

Create the property if necessary (see the help for the SPSETS command):

Each client will require their own specific PropertySet and may also request those mandated by IFC standards—for example: Pset_DistributionChamberElementTypeManhole:

So, create properties on the device that generate the necessary information and map them to the property required by the client.

Every class has a subtype; another example: concrete pipe: IfcPipeSegment.RIGIDSEGMENT
