SOLIDOS Modeler - Spline

Spline - creates a spline that passes through the list of points provided:

This activity is typically used to create longitudinal devices, such as channels, as they are generated by the activity Scan:

The Spline activity has the following properties:

• Identification
  • Name - name of the activity
    The circle name must follow the naming rules
  • Closed - indicates whether the polyline is closed or open (connects the end point to the start point)
  • Points Origin - Indicates the point data source, it can be:
    • Variable - indicates that the point list comes from a variable or property which will come from the Property Creation frame:
      
      
      Note, this list of points comes from the axis assigned to longitudinal devices. The points that may appear in the table above will only be used to generate the model
    • List of points - the user must build a list of points
      To edit, click the button () that appears in this field, or select this property in the properties box. It will be open or geometry list editor
  • Object Visible - indicates whether or not the polyline should be drawn in the preview
    
    

If the text gets too big/small, or the sphere that represents the point gets too big or small, use the buttons ( A, a, , ) at the top of the screen to change the preview
