The command SBSTANDARDS allows editing the names of Constructors, as well as the names of their properties, descriptions, categories, etc.
To use, call SBSTANDARDS from the command line, menu, toolbar or Ribbon. This screen will be shown:
On this screen, cells that have a gray background cannot be edited. These are internal properties of the program. The rest can be edited. It will be useful to match the model properties.
When you have many types of models, it is common for them to have properties with the same meanings, for example: manhole, manhole, connection box. These structures have in common:
Note: these properties are not required for the template, are implemented by the user, within the model. If you keep property names that have the same meanings with the same names, descriptions and category, you will make it much easier to see in properties frames.
It will also facilitate the creation of label styles, tables and reports for the devices, because the components will have the same macros for obtaining the property in the style editor
If there are templates from different catalogs, you can rename these templates and add descriptions to them to facilitate organization within the Settings Tab:
Finally, in case you want to translate the catalog into other languages, it will be much easier to edit these properties in the table.
Note: Internally, category names are kept in English. In the modeler, to use the same names, enter the English name in the Category column
Note: To be able to apply changes to this command, a license is required. Otherwise, you will only be able to view the data.
