The command EPANETEXPORT exports the INP file from EPANET
To use, call EPANETEXPORT from the command line, menu, toolbar, or Ribbon
The purpose of this command is to enable the generation of calculation memory, which may be required by some utilities.
All settings present in the node Epanet will be exported from the Settings tab, as well as all Pressure Networks of the current project. The generated file will be compatible with version 2.2.0 of the Epanet API.
Note, the purpose of the command is not to generate an INP file to be calculated in EPANET, "corrected" and reimported into SOLIDOS. By the way, this workflow is discouraged. The network imported by the command EPANETIMPORT is not overlaid with the chosen network but merged, so if there are devices on the chosen network, they are not changed.
The entire calculation process can be activated directly in SOLIDOS using the command EPANETCALC, since SOLIDOS also implements the EPANET API calculation engine and has more editing tools than EPANET itself.
Note: for the process to work, it is necessary that the names of the files indicated in the category ' Epanet Files' have valid paths and are not 'Read Only', otherwise it will be shown an error screen. If this happens, correct the location where these files are saved and try again.
Note: EPANET API errors may occur during export. These errors may or may not interrupt the export process. If they are interrupted, an error message will be displayed, which is listed in the topic EPANET Errors.
