SOLIDOS Processing Sequence

In short, SOLIDOS follows this sequence of actions:

  1. Style normalization - changes to styles or settings in general
  2. Geometric reconstruction of the network - here, geometry changes are processed, Connections that force neighboring devices to be rebuilt are processed. This is where the "Devices are causing feedback" message may appear. This occurs when a device forces its neighbor to rebuild itself and the neighbor also wants to do the same with the current device. If there is no balance between these requests between neighbors, the message appears
  3. Reconstruction of connected devices - This type of device only adapts to the linear device it is connected to, not participating in the operation of propagating the reconstructions as occurs in the step above
  4. Excavation Calculation - if enabled in Standards / Excavation
  5. Calculation of basins and sectors - In this step, the basins and sectors are recalculated. In the case of sectors, the running demand and flow distribution in nodes are calculated
  6. Simulation Calculation - If there are networks enabled for simulation calculation in EPANET or SWMM, simulations will be run
  7. Static calculation of networks - For drainage and sewage networks, in the rational method and running demand, see: Sizing
  8. Extra calculations - at this point it's time to do this. where the calculations made by the modelers come into play, use CALCULATE
  9. Rule Validation - Here, the rules that were applied to the devices are evaluated
  10. Redesign of projections - If there are projections in the drawing
  11. Recalculation of Labels, Tables and Interferences - if they exist, which ones need to be updated are evaluated
  12. Prospector Update - The Prospector icons are adjusted
  13. Model Space Update - completion or "regen". This is the most critical part in terms of speed, as it involves regening Model Space
