Solids Builder - Plane (Origin/Normal)
Plane (Origin/Normal) - creates a reference plane that passes through the informed point and has a normal vector equal to the informed vector:
Planes are used in transformations of the type
Mirror or solid manipulations of the type
Slice:
The activity Plane (Origin/Normal) has the following properties:
- Identification
- Name - name of the activity
The point name must follow the naming rules
- Origin - name of the point where the plane is located, or a point contained in the plane
- Normal Vector - name of normal vector ('a' x 'b', 90º shape with vector 'a' and vector 'b') to the plane:
- Object Visible - indicates whether or not the point should be drawn in the preview
Note that the drawing represents a rectangle for the plane itself.
This rectangle is merely illustrative, it has the function of indicating where the plane is.
If the text gets too big/small, or the sphere that represents the point gets too big or small, use the buttons ( A, a, , ) at the top of the screen to change the preview
