Solids Builder - Slice

Slice - cuts an solid into an plan:

Note, the source solid will not be modified. The solid will be cloned and then cut on the indicated plane. The part of the solid pointed to by the plane vector remains. This activity is for creating complex solids, for example the side wall of a wing. It is modeled and cut in such a way that the wall follows the slope:

The Slice activity has the following properties:

• Identification
  • Name - name of the activity
    The circle name must follow the naming rules
  • Slice Plane - name of the cutting plane
  • Solid to Slice - name of solid that will be Slice
  • Object Visible - indicates whether or not the point should be drawn in the preview
    
    

If the text gets too big/small, or the sphere that represents the point gets too big or small, use the buttons ( A, a, , ) at the top of the screen to change the preview
