Solids Builder - Revolve
Revolve - creates a solid by Revolve of a plane figure ( circle
or polyline) on an axis (
Vector):
The Revolve activity has the following properties:
- Identification
- Name - name of the activity
The name of the Revolve must follow the naming rules
- Figure to Revolve - name of the section to be revolved, it must be a flat figure ( circle
or polyline)
- Angle of Revolve - a numerical value or a VB expression for the angle of Revolve in decimal degrees
- Start Angle - a numerical value or a VB expression for the start angle in decimal degrees, counter clockwise starting on the X Axis of the Revolve plan
- Point - name of the point that marks the plane of Revolve as well as the center of the Revolve
- Vector - name of the vector that marks the normal of the plane of Revolve as well as the axis of rotation
- Object Visible - indicates whether or not the point should be drawn in the preview
- Angle Dimension
- Angle Offset - VB expression that distances the dimension line from the center point position
- Dimension Angle - indicates whether to draw a dimension at the angle of Revolve
- Angle Template - a text template that provides the dimension
Use <> for the dimension

If the text gets too big/small, or the sphere that represents the point gets too big or small, use the buttons ( A, a, , ) at the top of the screen to change the preview
