SOLIDOS Modeler - Extrude

Extrude - creates an extruded solid from a flat figure ( circle or polyline) at a given height:

The Extrude activity is the most basic activity that generates solids. It will resolve most device models.

The Extrude activity has the following properties:

• Identification
  • Name - name of the activity
    The extrusion name must follow the naming rules
  • Figure to Extrude - name of the flat curve to be extruded ( circle or polyline)
  • Height - a VB expression to evaluate the height value to extrude the figure
  • Object Visible - indicates whether or not the point should be drawn in the preview
    
    
• Height Quota
  • Height Offset - distance between the dimension line and the line joining the centroids of the extruded figure from start to finish
  • Dimension Height - indicates whether to draw a dimension on the height of the solid
  • Height Template - a text template that provides the dimension
    Use <> for the dimension (Example: Height = <>)

If the text gets too big/small, or the sphere that represents the point gets too big or small, use the buttons ( A, a, , ) at the top of the screen to change the preview
