Areas and Volumes

Each demand element, can have a list of areas and volumes

Each item will have the following characteristics:

  1. Raw Station - distance between start of alignment and location of cross section in alignment
  2. Area - cross-sectional area
  3. Station - Converted value of the progressive against the parameters of station equations
  4. Distance - Distance between Raw Station and Raw Station, or distance between two consecutive sections
  5. Geometric Volume - Geometric volume calculated by the section method, which reads:

    Geometric Volume(i) = Average (area(i-1), Area(i)) * (Distance(i))

These volumes will be sorted by the program, using maximum length defined in the settings tab.

If you use Civil 3D to model the project, jot down sections and get areas, use the program DDMLINK to get the areas directly from Civil 3D, without having to use other programs.

If the area and volume tab of some source or demand be informed, so that the volumes represented here are taken into account in the calculations of DMT and distribution.

If any value is invalid, the text will be in red, indicating the error.

Cells with yellow background, are editable. Cells with white background, are read-only.

If you need to make a report with the stations and areas of all source and demand items, click the File, Export Areas and please inform the location to save the HTML file.
