SWMM Shapes - Trapezoidal

THE Trapezoidal Section of SWMM, implements open trapezoidal channels.

The geometry properties relevant to this section are Base Width and the Max Blade, Slope Right and Slope Left:

• Cross section
  • Maximum Height - Section Height
  • Base Width - Section Width
  • Right slope - Right wall slope (y/x ratio)
  • Left Slope - Slope of the left wall (y/x ratio)

In SOLIDOS, the user must implement properties in the device constructor that describes that section, for example:

Note: You can use the section generated by this activity to model the device's internal section and also to define the Hydraulic Section of the linear device, as this is a mandatory property for dimensioning.
