Solids Builder - Slice

Slice - Cut the solid in a plane:

Note, the source solid will not be modified. The solid will be cloned and then cut in the plane indicated. The part of the solid pointed by the plane vector is that which remains. This activity serves to create complex solids, for example, the side wall of a wing. It is modeled and cut on a plane such that the wall follows the slope:

The Slice activity has the following properties:

• Identification
  • Name - extrude name
    The activity name must follow the naming rules
  • Slice Plane - name of cut plane
  • Solid to Slice - name of solid to slice
  • Visible Object - indicates whether or not the point should be drawn in the preview
    
    

If the text is too big/small, or the sphere representing the point is too big or small, use the buttons ( A, a, , ) at the top of the screen to change the preview
