Solids Builder - Vector (XYZ)

Vector (XYZ) - creates a vector, given lengths in X, Y, Z:

Vectors are auxiliary tools for drawing various types of objects. For example, to draw an Circle, coordinates are required center, the radius and also the vector normal to the plane on which the circle is drawn:

The Vector (XYZ) activity has the following properties:

• Identification
  • Name - name of the activity
    The point name must follow the naming rules
  • X ordinate - a VB expression for the X ordinate
  • Y ordinate - a VB expression for the Y ordinate
  • Z ordinate - a VB expression for the Z ordinate
  • Show on Point - the name of the point where the vector will be shown in the preview (in the circle example above, the vector is shown at the point named center)
  • Object Visible - indicates whether or not the point should be drawn in the preview

If the text gets too big/small, or the sphere that represents the point gets too big or small, use the buttons ( A, a, , ) at the top of the screen to change the preview
