Solids Builder - SWMM Links - Pump

Pumps are links used to lift water to higher altitudes.

When you want to define a device as a conduit, you must add the tool pump to the Constructor:

When adding the tool Pump, fill in your properties, in the tool's properties frame:

• Identification
  • Name - name of the activity
    The point name must follow the naming rules
  • Description - when the name of the activity is not enough to give context to the activity, use the description field
• SWMM
  • Pump Curve - Pump curve which contains the operating data of the pump
    It describes the relationship between the pump's flow rate and the conditions at its inlet and outlet nodes (see pump types above)
    If a curve is not entered, it is considered an ideal pump
  • Trigger Level - Depth at inlet node when pump is turned onEnter 0 if not applicable
  • Stop Level - Depth at the inlet node when the pump is turned off Enter 0 if not applicable
  • Initial State - Initial state of the pump, at the beginning of the simulation
