SWMM - Wind Speed

Provides monthly average wind speeds. They are used when calculating Snow Melt rates in wet conditions. Melting rates increase with increasing wind speed.

There are two options for specifying the wind speed:

1. Climate File - Wind speeds will be read from the same Climate File that was specified for temperature
2. Monthly averages - Wind speed is specified as an average value that remains constant for each month of the year. Enter a value for each month in the data grid provided. Default values are all zero:
