SWMM - Clomatology - Snow Melt

Provide parameters related to snow melt calculations:

• Snow Melt
  • Longitude Correction (LongitudeCorrection, Double) - This is a correction, in minutes, between true solar time and standard clock time. Depends on the longitude of a location (theta) and the standard meridian of its time zone (SM) via expression 4 (theta-SM)
  • Temperature Difference (DeltaTemp, Double) - Temperature difference between snow and rain
  • Elevation (OverElevation, Double) - Average elevation of the study area in relation to sea level
  • Prior Temperature Index (Ati, Double) - Reflects the extent to which heat transfer within a snowpack during periods of non-melt is affected by prior air temperatures
  • Latitude (Latitude, Double) - Average latitude of the study area
  • Snow Melt Ratio (DefrostRatio, Double) - Ratio of the heat transfer coefficient of a snowpack during non-melting conditions to the coefficient during melting conditions
