SWMM - Street Sweeping

Street sweeping can be used in each land use category to periodically reduce the accumulation of specific pollutants. Parameters that describe the street sweep include:

• Days between scans
• Days since last scan at start of simulation
• The fraction of accumulation of all pollutants that are available for sweeping removal
• The fraction of accumulation available for each pollutant removed by scanning

Note that these parameters may be different for each land use, and the last parameter may also vary with the pollutant:
