Weirs are projected the openings projected in the upper part of the walls of any reservoir through which the impounded liquid can flow

• L = Q / (1.838 * H ^ (3/2)) + 0.2 * H

Where:

• L - Weir width
• H - Weir height
• Q - design flow, or the flow that must flow
