Gutters


The gutters should be designed as Civil 3D alignments, so have a reference profile for calculation.

Use the Civil 3D tools to design, but some rules must be followed:
  1. Alignment direction is irrelevant. The flow is defined by the profile. The gutter will be subdivided into segments between the high and low points.
  2. Gutter can have only one typical section.
  3. Flow can only go from highs to lows. In lows should be provided for devices such as culverts.
  4. Should be created a profile for the gutter. It may be surface profile, but if it is irregular, consider create a layout profile.
