Add diameters


To add diameters, it is necessary to edit the catalog, so before anything else, make sure you have a backup of the catalog supplied with C3DRENESG.

Let's use the command PartBuilder.

In opened screen, select "Pipe" in the drop-down, click the "Modify Part Sizes":



Will open a dwg with a design very strange... Do not bother with it now. See Which Appears a new "Pallet" on the screen, called "Content Builder". Click on it with the right mouse button on "Size Parameters" and choose "Edit Values":



Will appear below the screen. Select any line and click "New". See a copy of the selected row is created. You can edit it.



We have a table of diameters with the other properties, Namely:
  1. PID - Pipe Inner Diameter, in millimeters
  2. WTh - Wall Thickness, in millimeters
  3. PrtSN - It's like the name of the pipe is formed, no need to edit
  4. Spacing - Exclusive to C3DRENESG, is the spacing in double pipes
Made your changes, click "OK" and then press the "Save part Family":



If all goes well, the new diameters will appear in the list of the properties of the pipe diameters:


If something goes wrong, close the Civil 3D, replace the catalog with the backup.
