Add Dimension On Parcels

The command AddDimOnParcels add dimensions on parcels,, sites and streets.

Of course in Civil 3D, this command can be left out, since the labels do this work.

To use the command:

1. Call the command AddDimOnParcels
2. Configure the identification parameters of the polylines (layers) and also the specific settings of this command:
   The parameters are:
   • Simplify - When polylines have consecutive edges with collinear vertices, you can suppress these vertices.
   • Layer - Layer where the dimension will be drawn
   • Style - AutoCAD Dimension Style
   • Overlay Test - inhibits that two measures are added on edges of neighboring parcels
   • Dimension distance - distance from the baseline of the dimension to the measured edge
3. Select the Parcels

So if we have something like this:

Note that there is no overlap of dimensions if the Override option is enabled.

Note the style of the dimension so that it has the appearance above.

Tip:

Pre select the polylines of the blocks and call the command and add the measurements from the outside; Then, select the batches and call the command and add the measurements inside.
